President's Letter

Dear Beak n Wings members, volunteers, donors, and supporters:

I would like to welcome you to Beak n Wings. We would like to apologize for our website being down so long, it has been as frustrating for us as I am sure it has been for you.

Beak n Wings has been active in past years, attending many public events as well as holding our own events. We have a “Bike Ride” fundraiser yearly in June and we normally hold two Bird Expos a year in February and September. Of course, in 2020 we were unable to hold all of our events due to COVID19. We are normally very busy when we go out into the public, introducing our birds to people and letting them hold them.

We are always looking for volunteers to help with events at our facility (cleaning cages, caring for the birds, and other duties). We are also looking for tradesmen such as a plumber, electrician, and builder etc. to help with repair and changes within the facility. If you are able to help us please email us at

Beak n Wings operates on donations from the public, our fundraising events, adoptions of birds, and the sale of small items from within the facility. Please note that Beak n Wings is NOT a pet store. We do not sell bird food, we have a small selection of toys for sale, and used cages.

Since 2003 Beak n Wings has taken in over 2200 birds. We make sure they are on healthy diets, take most of them (larger than cockatiels) to the vet, and rehabilitate those in need. All birds are observed for 30 days before they are put up for adoption.

We have continued to offer our Basic Bird Care 101 class, which is required for adoption, virtually during the pandemic, but we have now returned to doing live classes. We have also held our Advanced Bird Care Class live again. We are looking forward to having live speakers and fun events again in the coming months.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, I will be updating it as needed.
